A special day, today I met with the owners of the puppies from the B-litter of A Dream Of Agatha. They are now six months old.
At half past 10, we had agreed to meet at the General in Baarn. What a super reunion this was. With a total of 5 puppies from this litter, mum Fientje, Eefje and 3 more family dogs, we walked through the Baarn forest. The reunion between mummy Fientje and her children was very emotional. The recognition and fun they had together.
I too was not spared hugs and jumping up babes, they simply still recognised me! In the mud pool, they did the well-known beauty treatment and neatly stamped my skirt. At the ponds, some of them spontaneously jumped all the way in and others were just paddling.
We made another attempt, to have my picture taken with all the puppies and Fientje, but it did NOT work. Agreed to repeat this date again and see if it will work then.
All tired and satisfied after this walk, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the General. The dogs were also quite spoiled and lay quietly nibbling. We had a lot of visitors, it was a blissful sunny day.
Incredibly nice that so many came, I immensely enjoyed seeing these darlings again.
